Family Strengthening Resources

Is your family struggling because of a Crisis Pregnancy? Do you feel as though you need help and do not know where to turn? Are you, like many people, living from pay check to pay check with no room for a disaster in your financial planning? Perhaps you have a relationship where intimate partner violence has become a way of life, and things have escalated since you found out you were pregnant. Are you suffering with depression? Unable to work and provide for your children because of a lack of child care, or lack of education? Do you need job training to learn new skills to help you get a better paying job? Are you in need of health insurance, substance abuse treatment, or a primary care Doctor? Do you need help applying for Medicaid, Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) or Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF)? Do you already have other children, and this pregnancy is adding to your financial or family stress. Are you struggling every day?

If this is a first time pregnancy, do you know where to go to get a pregnancy test, or an ultrasound? Are you interested in parenting and childcare classes? Do you need baby supplies? If the father of the baby is not involved do you know how to go about getting child support?

We understand how frustrating it can be trying to find and get access to resources which is why we to put together this list of local community resources. We hope you will find it helpful.

If you are pregnant and need assistance navigating through the Social Service system to get the help you need, please call us at 321-766-5683.
