When a Birth Mother refuses to identify the biological father, we will explain to her the importance of giving as much information as possible to facilitate the adoption proceedings. The birth certificate can be applied for after the Adoption has been finalized. It usually takes 4 – 6 weeks after Finalization to obtain. We will make the application for a new birth certificate when the time comes.
